dress pattern makes a come-back...

A few months back I attended a work function that was fancy dress - 70s theme.  After looking through countless thrift stores for costume ideas with no success, I stumbled across some vintage dress patterns in the Salvation Army store.  As soon as I saw it, I snapped it up - 50 cents was all it cost - what a bargain!  I liked the idea so much that I ended up going back and buying a stack more to put away for a rainy day.  I had so much fun making it and I think it turned out pretty well considering I have only ever used a pattern on one other occasion! 

I chose the green spotty fabric because I loved the colour
