tasty pizza scrolls

Every Friday morning at 10am, work stops temporarily in my office for morning tea. It is a chance for us to debrief and talk about the week that was. Each week, we bake something to share amongst the group and we are the envy of others who walk by and see us sampling the many culinary delights on hand.
This week we shared light and delicious pumpkin scones with jam and cream, a scrumptious caramel tart and a decadent black forest cake. My contribution to the 'bake-off' was homemade pizza scrolls. I cheated a bit by putting the ingredients into the Bread Maker to mix and knead, but time is definitely of the essence in our household on a Thurday.
Once the dough process is complete, the filling is so easy - cover the base with pizza sauce, add some diced bacon and sprinkle a generous amount of pizza cheese over top. Then the fun bit - rolling it and then cutting it into thick slices and watching it rise, bubble and brown in the oven. My workmates were impressed, and so was I - who though that 10 minutes of preparation could turn out so successfully - who says every recipe has to be elaborate to be tasty :)
